PCI supports community empowerment having realized that many people get infected because of their economic situation. The poor people face more challenges with accessing health care, women experience sexual and gender violence which increases their vulnerability to diseases.
PCI trains people in the community in entrepreneurial skills that include making hand crafts, sawing, hair dressing, carpentry among others
We support especially women and girls, people infected with HIV and those in hard to reach communities to start up income generating activities or get employment
We train community members in financial literacy that includes record keeping, saving and investment.
We support people in the community especially women and girls to start up credit and saving schemes
We support people in the community with start up incentives and equipment that include sawing machines, carpentry equipment, hair dressing among others
